Usage of predictive analytics for financial planning

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou tématu prediktivní analytiky a finančního plánování firmy. Cílem práce je za pomoci analýzy jednotlivých částí, ze kterých se finanční plánování skládá, najít vazby mezi aktuálním chápáním prediktivní analytiky a finančního plánování. K dosažení výsledků práce bylo čerpáno z literárních i internetových zdrojů a ze získané praxe autora. V úvodu práce se autor zaměřuje na teorii samostatné prediktivní analytiky a představení vybraných modelů, rozhodovacích stromů, logistické regrese, neuronových sítí a fuzzy logiky, které jsou v dané analytice spolu s dalšími modely využívány. V navazující části dochází k postupné analýze, která začíná finančním řízením a postupně přes finanční plánování, jeho zákonitosti a metody se dostává až k finanční analytice a jejím metrikám. Autor pak následně rozebírá jednotlivé metriky, jak z pohledu významu, tak z pohledu datových zdrojů a dimenzí.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of the topic of predictive analytics and financial planning of a company. The aim of the work is to find links between the current understanding of predictive analytics and financial planning with the help of the analysis of individual parts of which financial planning consists. To achieve the results of the work was drawn from literary and Internet sources and from the acquired practice of the author. In the introduction, the author focuses on the theory of independent predictive analytics and the introduction of selected models, decision trees, logistic regression, neural networks, and fuzzy logic, which are used in analytics together with other models. In the following part, there is a gradual analysis, which begins with financial management and gradually through financial planning, its regularities, and methods reach financial analytics and its metrics. The author then analyzes the individual metrics, both in terms of meaning and in terms of data sources and dimensions.
