Public attitudes towards financial guidance and financial advisors.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá postojem veřejnosti k finančnímu poradenství a finančním poradcům. Cílem této bakalářské práce je identifikovat, z jakých důvodů veřejnost negativně vnímá finanční poradenství a finanční poradce. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí. První část je zaměřena na problematiku finančního poradenství a co vše je s ním spjaté. V druhé a třetí části se k dosažení určeného cíle čerpalo z dotazníkového šetření. Které se zabývalo faktory způsobujícími nedůvěru ve finanční poradenství a finanční poradce a zda výše dosaženého vzdělání má vliv na to, jaký mají lidé postoj k finančnímu poradenství a finančním poradcům. Dále práce obsahuje i další zjištění situace finančního poradenství a finančních poradců mezi veřejností, jako jak si respondenti myslí, že je finanční poradenství veřejností vnímáno nebo jaké si myslí, že má finanční poradenství nedostatky a co by mělo změnit. Jako nejčastější faktor, který ovlivňuje vnímání finančního poradenství je faktor pověsti této služby a faktor špatné zkušenosti. Dále také, že výše dosaženého vzdělání a postoj k finančnímu poradenství a finančním poradcům na sobě pravděpodobně nezávisí. V závěru práce najdeme shrnutí všech dat a následně doporučení, která vycházejí z těchto dat.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with public attitudes to financial advice and financial advisors. The aim of this thesis, is to identify the reasons, why the public negatively perceives financial advice and financial advisors. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is focused on financial advice and all what is related with it. In the second and third part achieve the intended aims benefited from survey. This servay dealt with the factors causing distrust in financial advice and financial advisors, and whether the level of education achieved influences the perception of financial advice and financial advisors. The work also includes additional findings situations of financial advice and financial advisors among the public, such as the respondents thought that financial advice is perceived by the public or what it thinks it has a financial consulting shortcomings and what should be changed. As the most common factor that affects the perception of financial advice is the reputation of the service and factor of bad experiences. Furthermore, the level of achieved education and attitudes to financial counseling and financial advisors, is not likely to matter to each other. In conclusion, we find a summary of all data and subsequent recommendations based on these data.
