Three playwriters called Milan Kundera

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce Tři dramatikové jménem Milan Kundera se soustředí na dramatickou tvorbu Milana Kundery, konkrétně jde o tři dramatické texty: Majitele klíčů (1962), Ptákovina (1968) a Jakub a jeho pán: Pocta Denisi Diderotovi (1971). Tato práce hodnotí každé toto dílo samostatně a mapuje základní aspekty díla: kontext vzniku, obsah, formální podobu, kritické ohlasy a hodnotí dílo také dle teoretických východisek dramatu. Tento rozbor následně ukazuje, že každé autorovo dramatické dílo je postaveno na jiných základech, liší se svou skladbou i předpokládanými inspiracemi, které vedly ke vzniku jednotlivého dramatu. Závěrečné srovnání práce ukazuje, že ač autor vytvořil tři dramatická díla, každé jako by vytvořil jiný dramatik.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Three playwrights called Milan Kundera focuses on dramatic production of Milan Kundera, specifically, it deals with three plays: Majitelé klíčů (Owners of the Keys, 1962), Ptákovina (The Blunder, 1968), Jakub a jeho pán: Pocta Denisi Diderotovi (Jacques and his Master, 1971)This thesis assesses each of the plays separately and maps the main aspects of each play: context of its creation, content, form, critical evaluation and it also evaluates the plays from the theoretical basis of drama. This analysis then shows that each play has different foundation and it differs in its composition and in hypothetical inspirations, which led to the creations of the plays. The final comparison shows that even though the author created three different plays, it seems that each of them was created by a different playwright.
