Party families in Central Europe

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o stranicko-politických rodinách ve střední Evropě v období po roce 1989. Konkrétně se bude práce věnovat České republice, Slovensku, Polsku a Maďarsku. Všechny tyto státy si, narozdíl od Německa a Rakouska, prošly obdobím komunismu a po jeho pádu i procesem transformace. Nejprve se práce zaobírá definicí tohoto pojmu, jeho vznikem a prvními autory pracujícími s tímto pojmem. Dále se v práci vyskytují kritéria pro obecné vymezení a zařazení politických stran do stranických rodin. Vycházet budeme ze základních typologií stranických rodin K. von Beymeho a dalších, podle kterých bude zkoumán vývoj nově se utvářejících ale i stávajících stran v jednotlivých státech po roce 1989. Smyslem a cílem práce bude zkoumání možností zařazení relevantních politických stran ve sledovaných zemích k relevantním typologiím stranických rodin při zohlednění všech specifik charakteristických pro formování politických a stranických systémů těchto zemí. Zkoumána bude profilace relevantních politických stran s přihlédnutím ke shodným či odlišným rysům mezi jednotlivými zkoumanými stranami.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with party families in the Central Europe in period right after 1989 focused on the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. In contrast with Germany and Austria, these countries has experienced and went through the communism and after through a transform process. First part of thesis is focused on a definition of this concept, its creation and first authors working with this issue. There are also criteria for general definition and inclusion of political parties into party families. On the base of the basic typology of party families from K. von Beyme and others, there will be examined development of newly forming and also existing parties in each countries after 1989. The purpose and goal of the work will be to examine options of including relevant political parties in our examined countries to a relevant typologies of party families, taking into account all specifics typical for the establishment of political and party systems in those countries. The profiling of relevant political parties will be examined with regard to the same or different characteristics between each examined parties.
