Abstract:

Populační vývoj a změny v porodnosti vyvolávají otázku, jakou hodnotu má dítě pro mladou generaci a jaký postoj mají mladí lidé k rodičovství, zejména k roli matky a otce. Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na hledání možných důvodů a vysvětlení současného trendu klesající porodnosti a odkládání tranzice k rodičovství, a to jak z teoretického, tak empirického hlediska. Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit současnou hodnotovou orientaci mladých lidí, jejich preference v oblasti rodinných hodnot a rozdíly v hodnotové orientaci podle věku a pohlaví. Práce se skládá z teoretické a výzkumné části. Teoretická část je rozdělena do dvou kapitol. První kapitola se věnuje konceptu univerzálních hodnot, zatímco druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na hodnoty v kontextu rodiny. Výzkumná část práce popisuje metody, postupy a výsledky kvantitativního výzkumu, který byl proveden prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření. Data byla vyhodnocena pomocí programu IBM SPSS a výsledky byly zpracovány do tabulek a grafů v programu Microsoft Excel.

Abstract:

Population development and changes in birth rates raise the question of the value of children for the younger generation and the attitudes of young people towards parenthood, especially the role of mothers and fathers. This bachelor thesis focuses on the search for possible reasons and explanations for the current decline in fertility and the increasing age of parents, both from a theoretical and empirical perspective. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out the current value orientation of Czech society, especially young people, their preferences in the area of family values and differences in value orientation by age and gender. The thesis consists of a theoretical and a research part. The theoretical part is divided into two chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the concept of universal values, while the second chapter focuses on values in the context of the family. The research part of the thesis describes the methods, procedures and results of the quantitative research, which was conducted through a questionnaire survey. The data was analysed using IBM SPSS and the results were compiled into tables and graphs using Microsoft Excel.
