The teaching methods of French language through drama education

Abstract:

V mé diplomové práci s názvem Metody výuky francouzského jazyka prostřednictvím dramatické výchovy se zabývám tématem využití dramatické výchovy jako alternativní metody, součástí jíž jsou divadelní techniky, v podobě divadelních aktivit a cvičení, které slouží k rozvíjení nejen jazykových schopností, ale i pohybových a jiných dovedností žáků, v rámci francouzského dramatického kroužku. Na základě české odborné literatury jsou představeny potřebné informace o vývoji a změnách v metodologii výuky v českém vzdělávání. Zabýváme se i nově využívanými alternativními metodami v cizojazyčné výuce a zařazujeme do nich i vybranou dramatickou metodu ve spojení s francouzským jazykem. Na základě francouzské odborné literatury jsou představeny a vysvětleny divadelní aktivity, které jsou rozděleny do kategorií, dle jejich zaměření. Následně jsou v praktické části na základě francouzských i českých autorů vybrány, dle obtížnosti, aktivity, které jsou využity ve francouzském dramatickém kroužku v 6. třídě na ZŠ Janouškove. Jejich součástí je i mé vyhodnocování. Vzhledem k nízké rozšířenosti zapojení dramatické metody ve výuce na základních školách v ČR, je má diplomová práce určena nejen budoucím pedagogům, kteří by chtěli aplikovat vybrané aktivity v běžné FJ na ZŠ, ale může sloužit i jako informační zdroj a motivace pro již zkušené pedagogy, kteří k této realizaci nemají dostatek informací a chtěli by se touto prací nechat inspirovat k vedení vlastního dramatického kroužku.

Abstract:

My thesis titled Methods of teaching the French language through drama education is based on the use of drama in education as an alternative method, which part are theatrical techniques, in the form of theater activities and exercises which serve as developing not only language skills, but also physical and other skills students in the French drama club. Based on Czech professional literature, it presents the necessary informations about the development and changes in methodology of the Czech education. We also deal with recently used alternative methods in language teaching and we include them as well as a dramatic method selected in conjunction with the French language. On the basis of French professional literature is presented and explained theatrical activities, which are divided into categories, depending on their specialization. Consequently, in the practical part, based on the French and Czech authors are chosen by different skills level, activities that are used in the French drama class in the 6th grade at the primary school Janouškova. My evaluation is also a part of it. Due to the low prevalence of involvement dramatic methods in teaching at primary schools in the Czech Republic, it is a thesis intended not only for future teachers who would like to apply selected activities in the common French language to school, but can also serve as a source of information and motivation for more experienced teachers, who to this realization do not have enough information and would like be inspired by this thesis to lead their own drama club.
