The topic of my thesis is "Jakub Jan Ryba composer, collector of songs and pedagogue" and there is an effort to highlight this important personality and to approach diversity and variety of his focus. The thesis contains characteristics of the time period when Ryba lived and also an outline of his life journey. One chapter is dedicated to Ryba´s musical career.
