Abstract:

V této diplomové práci se věnuji sociální práci s osobami s mentálním postižením. Práce se skládá z teoretické a praktické části. V teoretické části se zaměřuji na popis základních pojmů, které s tématem práce souvisí. Jedná se o mentální postižení, sociální práci, sociální služby pro osoby s mentálním postižením, skupinovou sociální práci a sebeobhajování. V praktické části jsem využila kvalitativní výzkumnou strategii. Pro účely výzkumu jsem data získala prostřednictvím skupinového rozhovoru. Cílem praktické části je zjistit, jaký je přínos účasti ve vybrané skupině sebeobhájců z pohledu jejich členů a dále zjistit, jakým způsobem se členové ve vybrané skupině sebeobhájců aktivně zapojují.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on social work with people with mental disability. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. The purpose of the theoretical part is to outline basic terminology concerning this subject, specifically mental disability, social work, social services for people with mental disability, group social work and self-advocacy. In the practical part, qualitative research strategy was used. The data for the purposes of this research were acquired through a group interview. The goal of the practical part is to determine the merit of a selected group of self-advocates attending group meetings from their perspective, and to find out how the attendees actively engage with other members of the group.
