Strategy of selected logistics service provider

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce je zaměřená na strategii vybraného poskytovatele logistických služeb. V první části práce byla zpracována teoretická východiska pro oblast strategie, přepravy a zasílatelství. V druhé části práce byla charakterizována vybraná společnost, zhodnocení této společnosti na trhu s důrazem na konkurenci v daném odvětví, situační analýza společnosti, dále byl proveden rozbor jednotlivých fází logistického řízení a rozbor konkrétního příkladu realizované přepravy. V závěru práce jsou analýzy shrnuty a jsou doplněný o případná zefektivnění činnosti firmy.

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis is focused on strategy of the selected logistics provider. In the first part of this thesis was elaborated theoretical base for the area of strategy, transportation and forwarding. In the second part is elaborated characterization, market evaluation and situational analysis of the selected company, with an emphasis on competition in the sector. Later in this chapter, is developed an analysis of individual phases of logistics management and analysis of a specific example of realized transport. In the ending are the analysis summarized and complemented by possible streamlining of business activities of the company.
