The causes of employee turnover in a selected company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou příčin fluktuace zaměstnanců ve společnosti Interhome Group v horizontu posledních šesti let. Cílem této práce je určit hlavní příčiny odchodů zaměstnanců za sledované období a následně navrhnout opatření, které by těmto odchodům přecházela. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretická část definuje klíčové pojmy a postupy, které jsou důležité k pochopení daného tématu a vyplývají z odborné literatury. Praktická část je koncipována formou interní analýzy, která umožní definovat míru fluktuace, hodnotu indexu stability a statistiku odchodů a příchodů zaměstnanců v podniku. V neposlední řadě probíhá dotazníkového šetření mezi bývalými zaměstnanci ke zjištění hlavních příčin odchodů. Na základě získaných dat z dotazníkového šetření jsou navrhnuta opatření, která budou nápomocná ke snížení fluktuace.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the causes of employee turnover in the company Interhome Group over the last six years. The aim of this thesis is to identify the main causes of employee departures over the reviewed period and then to propose measures to prevent these departures. The thesis is divided into two parts, the theoretical part defines the key concepts and procedures that are important to understand the topic, these concepts are derived from the literature. The practical part is conceived in the form of an internal analysis that will allow to define the turnover rate, the value of the stability index and the statistics of departures and arrivals of employees in the company. Finally, a questionnaire survey among former employees is conducted to identify the main causes of departures. Based on the data obtained from the questionnaire survey, measures are suggested that will be helpful to reduce the turnover.
