Abstract:

Tato práce si klade za cíl identifikovat faktory přispívající k zvýšené úrovni stresu u manažerů ve stavebním průmyslu, analyzovat vliv těchto faktorů na stresovou hladinu a pracovní nasazení, a definovat návrhy pro efektivní copingové strategie. Použitá metodologie zahrnuje kombinaci kvantitativních a kvalitativních přístupů. Kvantitativní analýza využívá statistických metod, jako jsou Kruskal-Wallisův test, aritmetický průměr, modus, medián, rozptyl a směrodatná odchylka k analýze dat získaných dotazníkovou metodou a metody "sněhové koule" pro získávání respondentů. Zjištění ukazují, že stres je běžným fenoménem ve stavebním průmyslu, se značným vlivem na pracovní výkonnost. Mezi nejčastější zdroje stresu patří časové limity a komunikace se zákazníky. Výsledky dále odhalují nedostatečnou informovanost o metodách zvládání stresu a poukazují na potřebu posílení podpůrných mechanismů a strategií pro zvládání stresu. Výzkum má několik omezení, včetně omezeného vzorku a potenciálního zkreslení dat, což může ovlivnit obecnost výsledků. Dále se studie soustředí pouze na stavební průmysl, což může limitovat aplikovatelnost zjištění na jiné sektory. Tyto faktory nabízejí prostor pro další obsahově obdobné práce, které by mohly prohloubit porozumění identifikovaným problémům a rozšířit aplikovatelnost navrhovaných řešení na širší spektrum průmyslových odvětví.

Abstract:

This work aims to identify factors contributing to increased stress levels among managers in the construction industry, analyze the impact of these factors on stress levels and work engagement, and define proposals for effective coping strategies. The methodology used includes a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative analysis employs statistical methods such as the Kruskal-Wallis test, arithmetic mean, mode, median, variance, and standard deviation to analyze data obtained through survey methods and the "snowball" method for recruiting respondents. Findings indicate that stress is a common phenomenon in the construction industry, with a significant impact on work performance. The most common sources of stress include time constraints and communication with customers. The results further reveal insufficient awareness of stress management methods and highlight the need to strengthen support mechanisms and strategies for managing stress. The research has several limitations, including a limited sample size and potential data bias, which may affect the generalizability of the results. Additionally, the study focuses only on the construction industry, which may limit the applicability of the findings to other sectors. These factors offer room for further similar work that could deepen understanding of the identified problems and expand the applicability of the proposed solutions to a broader range of industries.
