Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá provozem datových center. V první části práce je podrobně popsána infrastruktura datového centra a její správná volba. Je zde uvedena obecná charakteristika všech hlavních komponent. Další část se zabývá dostupností provozovaných systémů a jejich zařazení ve vazbě na zvolenou infrastrukturu. Předposlední část je zaměřena na samotný provoz datových center včetně ekonomického pohledu. V poslední části, která je považována za vlastní přínos autora, jsou nastíněny obecné zásady při návrhu a implementaci datových center. Na závěr práce je uvedeno krátké shrnutí pohledu autora na současný stav a očekávaný vývoj v oblasti datových center.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the operation of data centers. In the first part a data center infrastructure is described in detail and how to choose the right one. The general characteristics of all major components are listed there. The following section discusses the availability of operating systems and their classification in relation to the selected infrastructure. The penultimate section focuses on data center operation itself, including the economic perspective. In the last part, which is considered the author's own contribution, the general principles in the design and implementation of data centers are outlined. The last part contains a brief summary of the author's perspective on the current status and expected developments in data centers.
