Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá kultem osobnosti v Socialistické republice Rumunsko za vlády prezidenta Nicolae Ceauşesca v letech 1965-1989. Osoba Nicolae Ceauşesca výrazně ovlivnila minulost země a stále ovlivňuje i dnešní Rumunsko. Tato práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí - teoretické, historické a poslední části analyzující samotný kult osobnosti. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na typologii kultu, popisuje, kdy se tento pojem poprvé objevil a jak se kult projevuje. Pro první část je také velmi důležité odhalení Stalinova kultu v Sovětském svazu N. S. Chruščovem v roce 1956 v tajném projevu na XX. sjezdu Komunistické strany Sovětského svazu. Druhá část sleduje vznik Rumunské socialistické republiky a situaci mezi válkami, po druhé světové válce a vzestup komunistické strany v 50. letech. Třetí část se výhradně věnuje Ceauşescovu životu a sleduje jeho nástup k moci. Zároveň popisuje velmi důležité události roku 1968, kdy ostře kritizoval invazi vojsk Varšavské smlouvy do Československa a analyzuje samotné budování kultu osobnosti. Závěr je věnován revoluci v roce 1989, smrti prezidenta a jeho odkazu v současném Rumunsku.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis presents an analysis of the cult of personality in the Ceauşescu's Socialist Republic of Romania in the years 1965-1989. The person of Nicolae Ceauşescu has influenced the past as well as the present of Romania. The bachelor's thesis is divided into three major parts theoretical, historical introduction and the Ceauşescu's cult of personality itself. The theoretical part focuses on a typology of cult of personality, describes when this concept appeared for the first time. In this first part is also very important the revelation of the personality cult of Stalin in the Soviet Union by N. S. Khrushchev in 1956 in a secret speech to the 20th Congress of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. The second part focuses strictly on formation of the Socialist Republic of Romania and situation between wars and after the Second World War. This part is following the Communist Party's rise to power in the 1950s. The third part is based on the Ceauşescu's life and follow his person rise to power. Third part also includes and described a very important event in 1968, when Ceauşescu sharply criticized the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia and building a personality cult. Conclusion describes the revolution in 1989, the death of the president and his legacy in contemporary Romania.
