Managerial and Cost Accounting as a Source of Information in an Accounting Unit

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou manažerského účetnictví, jako zdroje informací v podniku. Manažerské účetnictví slouží pro potřeby uvnitř podniku. Jeho součástí je nákladové účetnictví, kalkulace a rozpočetnictví. V teoretické části jsou na základě prostudování odborné literatury popsány součásti a úkoly manažerského účetnictví, jako je sledování a členění nákladů a jejich kontrola, sledování a členění středisek, popis kalkulačního systému, rozpočetnictví a v závěru teoretické části jsou definovány rozhodovací úlohy.Ve vlastní práci je charakterizován vybraný podnik, kterým je technologická společnost MEGA a její dceřiné společnosti, především vývojově výzkumná společnost MemBrain. Jsou uvedeny činnosti společnosti, její organizační struktura, finanční a ekonomické ukazatele, popsán používaný účetní software, výkony společnosti, používané kalkulační vzorce, rozpočty, rozhodovací úlohy a konkurenti společnosti.Na základě získaných poznatků z teoretické části jsou jednotlivé okruhy zhodnoceny a navržena případná řešení.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of managerial accounting as a source of information in the company. Management accounting serves the needs within the enterprise. It includes cost accounting, costing and budgeting. In the theoretical part, based on the study of literature, the parts and tasks of managerial accounting are described, such as monitoring and cost classification and their control, monitoring and division of centers, description of the costing system, budgeting, and decision tasks are defined at the end of the theoretical part.The thesis describes the selected company, which is the technological company MEGA and its subsidiaries, especially the development research company MemBrain. The activities of the company, its organizational structure, financial and economic indicators, the accounting software used, company performance, used calculation formulas, budgets, decision-making roles and competitors are presented.On the basis of knowledge, of the theoretical part of the individual areas, assessed and proposed possible solutions.
