Stanovení strategie nákupu železa pro výrobní podniky

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnotit vývoj dosavadních cen železa (ocelových výztuží a za tepla válcované svitkové oceli) na komoditních burzách, zjistit závislost ceny železa na cenách ostatních významných komodit (ropy a zemní plynu), predikovat jeho budoucí a navrhnout strategii nákupu železa pro výrobní podniky v Jihočeském kraji do konce roku 2028. Pro zhodnocení vývoje dosavadních cen byla zvolena metoda obsahové analýzy, která byly využita také pro vyhodnocení závislosti cen železa na ostatních významných komoditách, přičemž tato byla vyhodnocena pomocí metody korelační analýzy, resp. Pearsonova korelačního koeficientu. Pro predikci budoucího cenového vývoje byla zvolena a využita metoda umělých neuronových sítí, konkrétně vícevrstvé perceptronové sítě. Výpočty jsou provedeny v software Statistica (verze 13). Lineární regrese je provedena za pomoci různých funkcí, vždy je generováno 1 000 neuronových struktur, z nichž je vybráno 5, které vykazují nejlepší charakteristiky. Tyto jsou uchovány pro predikce budoucích cen na období 2023-2028 v rámci třech experimentů. Výsledky jsou prezentovány v tabulkách a grafech zpracovaných v Microsoft Excel. Na základě vybraných variant predikce budoucích cen oceli je možné doporučit konkrétní strategii nákupu železa pro výrobní podniky v Jihočeském kraji do konce roku 2028.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to evaluate the development of the current prices of iron (steel rebar and hot rolled coil steel) on commodity exchanges, to determine the dependence of the price of iron on the prices of other major commodities (oil and natural gas), to predict its future and to propose a strategy for the purchase of iron for manufacturing companies in the South Bohemia Region until the end of 2028. The content analysis method was chosen to evaluate the development of prices to date, which was also used to evaluate the dependence of iron prices on other major commodities, which was evaluated using the method of correlation analysis and Pearson correlation coefficient, respectively. The artificial neural network method, namely multilayer perceptron networks, was selected and used to predict future price developments. The calculations are performed using Statistica software (version 13). Linear regression is then performed using different functions, 1,000 neural structures are generated each time, from which the 5 that show the best characteristics are selected. These are retained for the prediction of future prices for the period 2023-2028 in the three experiments. The results are presented in tables and graphs processed in Microsoft Excel. Based on selected variants of future steel price prediction, it is possible to recommend a specific strategy for the purchase of iron for manufacturing companies in the South Bohemia Region until the end of 2028.
