Crime committed against seniors in Prague

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou kriminality páchané na seniorech. Práce rovněž pojednává o problémech, které nastávají s přibývajícím věkem, o seniorech jako o obětech trestného činu a vztazích seniorů ke kriminalitě a její prevenci. Dále uvádí preventivní programy a organizace, které seniorům pomáhají a věnují se obětem trestných činů. Cílem práce je objasnit současnou situaci kriminality páchané na seniorech v Praze, poukázat na zkušenosti seniorů s kriminalitou a zhodnotit tak její úroveň. Pro tento účel byl proveden výzkum mezi seniory v Praze, formou zvolené metody dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with issue of crime commited against the elderly. It also adresses problems with ageing, crime against the elderly from the perspective of an elderly as a victim of crime and the relation between seniors and prevention. This work cites preventive programmes and organisations that help the elderly and work with victims of crime. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to clarify the current situation of the crime commited against the elderly in Prague and refer to their experience with crime and evaluate the level of crime. For this objective was accomplished questionnaire research between elderly Prague citizens.
