Taboo Topics in Present Children´s Literature

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce s názvem Tabuizovaná témata v současné literatuře pro děti je zaměřena především na interpretace a rozbor hlavních a vedlejších témat dětských knih po roce 1989 s touto tematikou.Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části, na teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou zmapovaná témata zásadní pro závěry vyvozené interpretací knih v praktické části.Jsou jimi literární výchova na 1. stupni, žák 1. stupně základní školy, práce s uměleckým textem, tabuizovaná témata v rámci literatury pro děti a mládež a vybraní čeští a světoví autoři. V praktické části je interpretační metodou rozebráno osm vybraných českých a světových knih s tabuizovanou tematikou, které jsou rozděleny dle hlavních témat fyzický handicap, smrti, postoj rodiny k dítěti s mentálním postižením, rozvod, alkoholismus v rodině, šikana. Interpretace jsou doplněny dílčími diskuzemi a závěrečnou reflexí. V závěru práce je návrh přípravy na hodinu s interpretovanou knihou Pět minut před večeří.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis titled Taboo Topics in Present Children's Literature focuses on interpretation and analysis of key meanings and in-between-the-line deduction of taboo topics stories in children's literature published after 1989. The thesis is structured in theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part maps fundamental topics required for the following practical part where book stories are interpreted i.e.: literature course for grade 1st to 5th of elementary school, a pupil, analysis of literature excerpts, taboo topics in children's literature and overview of selected Czech and world authors. A selection of eight books from Czech and world authors is interpreted in the second part of the thesis. The interpretations are grouped in chapters per their key taboo topics: physical handicap, death, family affections towards mentally disabled child, divorce, alcoholism in family, bullying. All interpretations are substantiated by concluding remarks and reflection. An example of a lecture preparation is presented at the end of the thesis based on a book Pět minut před večeří.
