Contrast of intensity of existence and indifference in selected collections of Oldřich Mikulášek poems

Abstract:

Práce přináší nový interpretační pohled na nejvýraznější básnickou tvorbu Oldřicha Mikuláška z poválečných let. Prostřednictvím hlubšího proniknutí do sémantiky motivické roviny sleduje kontrastní vztahy existenciálních motivů intenzity existence a netečnosti, jež tvoří základ básníkovy filozofické koncepce, a zkoumá jejich vývoj v rámci zkoumaných sbírek Pulsů a Ortelů a milostí. Pro interpretační analýzu využívá metodu vycházející z abstraktních dichotomií, které slouží jako zjednodušené binární modely základních významů, které jsou pro intenzitu existence a netečnost spatřovány v básníkově sémantice jako nejnosnější. Ve svém celku práce přináší pohled na to, jak jsou významy básní do kontrastních vztahů koncipované, tak aby celkové vyznění sbírek odpovídalo básnickému záměru, a jaký je rozdíl v jejich výstavbě v jednotlivých sbírkách, a to i s ohledem na dobové souvislosti.

Abstract:

The work brings a new interpretive view of the most distinctive Oldřich Mikulášek´s poetry from the post-war years. Through a deeper insight into the semantics of motivic plane it follows the contrasting relationships of existential themes of intensity of existence and indifference, which form the basis of the poet's philosophical concepts, and examine their progress within the examined collections Pulsy and Ortely a Milosti. For the interpretive analysis it uses the method based on abstract dichotomies that serve as a simplified binary models of basic meanings, which are for the intensity of existence and indifference seen in the poet's semantics as the most supporting. In its entirety, the work brings a look at how the meanings of poems are designed into contrasting relationships, so that the overall impression of the collections match the poetic intent, and what the difference in their construction is in various collections, including the regard to the contemporary context.
