Business model innovation of the selected company

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou business modelu rodinného podnikání a jeho optimalizací. Jedná se o firmu RM-SPORT s.r.o. zaměřující se na prodej sportovního vybavení se specializací na lyžařské aktivity. Cílem práce je na základě analýzy business modelu navrhnout inovace a následně formulovat doporučení pro vlastníka společnosti, vedoucí k aktualizaci business modelu a zajištění růstu podniku. Práce byla rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezení celkové problematiky od definování podniku a podnikání samotného po podnikatelské prostředí. Největší pozornost je věnována metodologii business modelu Canvas, který je v tomto případě využíván. Dále jsou popsány jeho jednotlivé bloky a inovace business modelů. Poslední část práce patří modelům řízení růstu firmy. Praktická část zahrnuje aplikování literatury popsané v teorii a zhotovení samotné analýzy, která je ukotvená do prostředí modelu. V samotném závěru autor navrhuje doporučení pro firmu týkající se aktualizace, které může firma implementovat v blízké budoucnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the business model and its optimization. The company RM-SPORT s.r.o. focuses on the selling of sports equipment in particular for skiing activities. The aim of the thesis is to propose innovations based on the analysis of the business model and then formulate recommendations for the owner of the company, leading to the updating of the business model and ensuring the growth of the enterprise. The thesis was divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of the overall issue from the definition of the business and the entrepreneurship itself to the business environment. Most attention is paid to the Canvas business model methodology that is used in this case. Furthermore, its different blocks and business model innovations are described. The last part of the thesis belongs to the growth management models. The practical part involves applying the literature described in the theoretical part and making the analysis itself, which is anchored in the model environment. At the very end, the author proposes recommendations for the firm regarding updates that the company can implement in the near future.
