Commented traduction of a non-literary text from Spanish into Czech, field: linguistics

Abstract:

This thesis describes technical translation from field of linguistics, especially the Spanish-Czech translation. An inseparable part is constituted by a commentary on the translation and the glossary of the terms. The thesis has five main parts, namely a translation into Czech, than a translation analysis analyzing the intratextual and extratextual factors, further, the translation problems typology describing problems which emerged in the translation process, and their solutions. The fourth part is a description of the translation method. In the last part we created a Spanish-Czech glossary terminological and selected terms were prepared in the form of terminological records.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá odborným překladem z oblasti lingvistiky, konkrétně překladem ze španělštiny do češtiny. Nedílnou součástí je komentář k překladu a terminologický glosář. Práce je rozdělena na pět hlavních částí. První část je tvořena samotným překladem, následuje překladatelská analýza, která zkoumá vnitrotextové a vnětextové faktory. Dále typologie překladatelských problémů, zabývající se problémy, které se při překladu vyskytly, a jejich řešeními. Čtvrtou část tvoří popis překladatelské strategie. V poslední části jsme vytvořili španělsko-český terminologický glosář a vybrané odborné výrazy jsme zpracovali ve formě terminologických záznamů.
