Bakalářská práce je koncipována jako souhrnný přehled historie Městské knihovny Holešov. Na začátku je shrnuta historie knihovnictví v Holešově od 60. let 19. století do roku 1945. Historii knihovny od roku 1945 do současnosti se práce věnuje podrobněji v jednotlivých kapitolách. Práce je psána chronologicky a jednotlivé kapitoly zahrnují zpravidla období deseti let. The Bachelor's Thesis is designed as an overall survey the history of the Municipal Library in Holešov. The history of library science in Holešov from the 1860s to 1945 is summarized at the beginning. The history of the library from 1945 to the present is dealt with in the Bachelor's Thesis in more detail in individual chapters.
