Thematic pedagogy in the primary school

Abstract:

Obsahem diplomové práce je integrovaná tematická výuka, jakožto jedna z moderních výukových forem současné pedagogiky. Teoretická část shrnuje poznatky o tematické výuce na 1. stupni základní školy. Zaměřuje se především na teoretické zpracování jednotlivých témat, stanovení klíčového učiva a aplikačních úkolů. Následně jsou tyto poznatky aplikovány v praktické části, která se zabývá návrhem, plánováním a následnou realizací čtyř témat pro 3. a 4. ročník. Témata se váží k ročním obdobím, vychází ze vzdělávací oblasti Člověk a jeho svět a Člověk a svět práce. Cílem akčního výzkumu bylo zjistit míru využití tematické výuky na 1. stupni ZŠ. Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že tuto formu výuky využívá většina pedagogů 1. stupně, začleňují ji téměř do všech vyučovacích předmětů a v rámci projektových dnů.

Abstract:

Content of my thesis is integrated thematic education as one of the modern teaching forms of current pedagogy. The theoretical part summarizes the findings of thematic teaching on the primary school. It focuses mainly on the theoretical treatment of individual themes, setting of key curriculum and application tasks. These findings are subsequently applied in the practical part, which deals with design, planning and subsequent implementation of the four themes for the 3rd and 4th year. Themes are related to the seasons, based on the educational area Man and his world, and Man and the world of the work. The aim of action research was to determine degree of the use of thematic education on the primary school. The research results have shown that this form of education is used by most teachers on the primary school and they incorporate it almost into all subjects and within project days.
