This diploma thesis dicusses the translation of professional text from the food industry from Russian into Czech. It consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of professional style, the issue of translating terms and terminological phrases and translation transformations, and it provides a description of a recipe.
