Motives and challenges of the implementation of the CENTRAL BANK DIGITAL CURRENCY for the Czech National Bank
Abstract:
Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat motivy a výzvy spojené s implementací digitální měny centrální banky (CBDC) specificky pro Českou národní banku. Práce se zaměří na identifikaci potenciálních přínosů a rizik, které by zavedení CBDC mohlo přinést, a to jak z pohledu monetární politiky, tak z pohledu technologických a bezpečnostních aspektů.
Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the motives and challenges associated with the implementation of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) specifically for the Czech National Bank. The thesis will focus on identifying the potential benefits and risks that the implementation of CBDC could bring, both from a monetary policy perspective and from a technological and security perspective.
