Abstract:

Cílem práce je navrhnout a implementovat mockovací framework napsaný pro databázovou platformu InterSystems Caché v programovacím jazyce Caché ObjectScript. Framework je primárně určen pro firmu CSystem. Hlavní využití spočívá v možnosti poskytnutí namockovaných komponent pomocí frameworku společnostem třetích stran pro potřebu systémové integrace. Dále je možné framework využít při mockování serverové strany v klient-server aplikacích a při jednotkovém testování. Na základě požadavků z firmy byl vytvořen výsledný framework, který dokáže mockovat jednoduché objekty ale i komplexní rozhraní subsystémů. Navíc nabízí možnost generování REST rozhraní mockovaných komponent a použitá technologie kontejnerizace, jmenovitě technologie Docker, zajišťuje jednoduchou distribuci mocku. První část práce popisuje výhody mockování při různém použití, platformu Caché a principy kontejnerizace. Druhá část, kromě analýzy požadavků a přehledu implementace, obsahuje také praktickou ukázku použití frameworku.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to design and develop a mocking framework written for database platform InterSystems Caché in Caché ObjectScript programming language. The framework is principally intended for the CSystem company. The primary purpose of the framework is to assist in an inter-system integration by providing third party companies with the functionality of mocked components. The other purposes are mocking server-side in client-server applications and supporting mocking in unit testing. Based on requirements, the resultant framework was created, which allows mocking small objects or complex API of sub-systems. Furthermore, the framework offers to generate REST API of mocked components, and used containerization technology, namely Docker, ensures the simple distribution. The first part of the thesis describes the benefits of mocking in various usage, platform Caché and the principles of containerization. The second part contains, apart from an analysis of requirements, a review and a process of implementation, also a practical demonstration of framework usage.
