Tato práce se zabývá rozdíly mezi dvěma společnostmi v díle Obřad (1977) spisovatelky Leslie Marmon Silkové. Společnosti, o nichž tato práce pojednává, jsou původní obyvatelé Ameriky a Američané pocházející z Evropy. This thesis deals with the differences between two cultural backgrounds in Leslie Marmon Silko’s novel Ceremony (1977); the Native Americans and the Americans of European origin. The main differences the thesis discusses are the relationship to land, the concept of individuality and the differences in healing methods.
