English children´s songs not only in music lessons in primary school

Abstract:

Téma diplomové práce je věnováno problematice anglických dětských písní ve výuce nejen hudební výchovy na 1. st. ZŠ. Je zpracována s cílem poskytnout vyučujícím na 1. st. ZŠ dostatečné množství podnětů k zamyšlení nad propojením angličtiny a hudební výchovy. V teoretické části kvalifikační práce jsou vymezeny základní pojmy jako hudební činnosti, hudební schopnosti, uplatnění dětské písně na 1. st. ZŠ v rámci RVP, využití písní k výuce angličtiny jako cizího jazyka a metoda CLIL. Praktická část obsahuje výzkumnou sondu. Ta je prováděna pomocí dotazníku a zjišťuje využívání anglických písní v pedagogické praxi. Její druhá část zahrnuje práci s konkrétními osmi anglickými písničkami, jejich realizaci ve výuce a reflexi. Ke každé písni je vytvořen zásobník praktických nápadů a návrhů (včetně not a pracovních listů), jak s konkrétní písničkou nadále pracovat i v dalších předmětech.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma thesis is devoted to the issue of English children´s songs in teaching of not only Music education in primary school. It is compiled in order to provide teachers at primary schools have enough stimuli to think about the connection between English and Music education. The theoretical part of the qualification thesis defines the basic concepts such as musical activities, musical abilities, the application of children's songs in primary school within the FEP (Framework Educational Programme for Elementary Education), the use of songs to teach English as a foreign language and the CLIL method. The practical part contains a research probe. This is done using a questionnaire and finds out the use of English songs in pedagogical practice. The second part includes work with specific eight English songs, their implementation in teaching and reflection. For each song, a stack of practical ideas and suggestions (including notes and worksheets) is created, how to continue working with a specific song in other subjects.
