The Evaluation of Selected Companies in Terms of Social Responsibility

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá zhodnocením CSR ve zvolených nadnárodních korporacích z oblasti stavebních materiálů. Cílem práce je zhodnotit míru aplikace CSR ve vybraných společnostech a určit další možnosti aplikace tohoto konceptu. Práce obsahuje teoretickou část, ve které je provedena analýza odborné literatury a doporučení autorů pro realizaci konceptu CSR ve firmách. V praktické části práce jsou analyzovány konkrétní firmy, a je vyhodnoceno, jakým způsobem implementují do praxe jednotlivé pilíře CSR. Zjištěné údaje jsou komparovány a je vyhodnoceno, které firmy uplatňují jednotlivé pilíře lépe a které hůře. Závěrem práce je firmám stručně navrženo, jakým způsobem by měly tento koncept realizovat do budoucna.

Abstract:

This thesis evaluates CSR concept in selected transnational corporations in the field of construction materials. The purpose of the thesis is to evaluate the extent of CSR application in these corporations and determine further options for applying the concept. The thesis contains a theoretical part analysing literature and the author´s recommendations for practical implementation of CSR in companies. The practical part of the thesis includes analysis of specific companies and evaluation of methods of practical implementation of individual CSR pillars. The resulting data is compared, evaluating which companies are better or worse at applying individual CSR pillars. The final part of the thesis briefly suggests what methods companies should use to apply the concept in the future.
