Analysis of migration flows in the last five years in Germany

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje migrační toky v Německu, které zde probíhaly zejména v posledních pěti letech. Cílem bylo zhodnotit různé typy migračních toků v kontextu současné evropské migrační krize posledních let. Práce se v první části zaměřuje na objasnění základních pojmů, v druhé poté zejména na migraci ze zahraničí a problematiku spojenou s příchodem velkého množství kulturně i civilizačně odlišných lidí, se zaměřením na jejich integraci a uplatnění na pracovním trhu. Řeší i vliv masové migrace na život v Německu. Zkoumá také územní směřování uvnitř Německa. Posouzení probíhalo na základě zpracování a porovnání statisticky dostupných dat z německých úřadů a vyvození závěrů. Ze zkoumání vyplývá, že počet cizinců a žadatelů o azyl se v posledních pěti letech výrazně zvýšil.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis analyzes migration flows in Germany, which have been taking place especially in the last five years. The aim was to assess different types of migration flows in the context of the current European migration crisis of recent years. The first part focuses on the explanation of basic concepts, the second one focuses especially on migration from abroad and the issues connected with the arrival of a large number of culturally and civilizationally different people, with a focus on their integration and employment in the labor market. It also addresses the impact of mass migration on life in Germany. It also examines the territorial tendencies within Germany. The assessment was based on the processing and comparison of statistically available data from the German authorities and drawed conclusions. The research shows that the number of foreigners and asylum seekers has increased significantly in the last five years.
