My bachelor thesis is concerned with the image of Slovak Sport in the German Print Media and analyses the image of the Slovak individuals in the concrete German articles. The theo-retical part introduces the stylistics, functional styles, and journalism and defines some of the linguistic terms. Meine Bachelorarbeit befasst sich mit der Darstellung des slowakischen Sports in deut-schen Print Medien, welches Bild der einzelnen Sportler wird in den konkreten Artikel gebildet. Der theoretische Teil führt die Stilistik, Funktionalstile, und Journalismus und definiert einige linguistische Begriffe.
