Abstract:

Diplomová práce Krize středního věku u žen je zacílena na hlubší prozkoumání problematiky této krize u ženské populace. Cílem je zjistit míru povědomí o tomto fenoménu mezi ženami ve středním věku, zjistit jejich životní spokojenost a jejich hodnoty v tomto období, prozkoumat dle nich nejhorší, a naopak nejlepší aspekty středního věku a zjistit, zda se jim v průběhu života podařilo splnit jejich sen či cíl. Pro tento účel bylo do výzkumu zapojeno 604 respondentek, které vyplnily dotazník týkající se krize středního věku obsahující uzavřené, polouzavřené a otevřené otázky. Respondentky byly ve věku 35-55 let a dále byly u určitých otázek pro potřeby porovnání rozděleny na věkové skupiny 35-40 let (N = 202), 41-45 let (N = 162), 46-50 let (N= 127) a 51-55 let (N = 113). Ze zodpovězení výzkumných otázek vyplývá, že povědomí o krizi středního věku mezi ženami ve středním věku je vysoké a průměrná životní spokojenost těchto žen se pohybuje kolem 7,5 bodu (kdy 1 = nejméně, 10 = nejvíce). Výzkum rovněž zjistil, co si ženy pod pojmem krize středního věku představují a jaké jsou dle nich negativní a pozitivní změny spojené se vstupem do středního věku.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis Mid-life Crisis in Women is aimed at a deeper examination of the issue of this crisis in the female population. The aim is to find out the level of awareness of this phenomenon among middle-aged women, to find out their life satisfaction and values in this period, to examine the worst and best aspects of middle age and to find out whether they have succeeded in fulfilling their dream or target. For this purpose, 604 respondents were involved in the research, who filled in a questionnaire concerning the crisis of middle age containing closed, semi-closed and open questions. The respondents were aged 35-55 years and were further divided into age groups 35-40 years (N = 202), 41-45 years (N = 162), 46-50 years (N = 127) and 51-55 years (N = 113) for certain questions for comparison purposes. The answers to the research questions show that awareness of the middle age crisis among middle-aged women is high and the average life satisfaction of these women is around 7.5 points (where 1 = least, 10 = most). The research also found out what women think of as a crisis of middle age and what they think are the negative and positive changes associated with entering middle age.
