Atmospheric effects for real-time global illumination
Abstract:
Rýchla simulácia atmosférických efektov je dôležitá oblasť výskumu pre outdoorové vizualizácie v reálnom čase. Táto práca popisuje princípy vykresľovania atmosférických efektov pre potreby ich simulácie a popisuje spôsob pre vykresľovanie volumetrických oblakov osvetlených atmosférou v reálnom čase. Popísané techniky sú implementované ako ukážkové projekty v renderovacej knižnici mallumo.
Abstract:
Fast simulation of atmospheric effects is an important area of research for outdoor real-time visualisations. This thesis describes the principles of real-time rendering of atmospheric effects for the purpose of their simulation and describes a method for real-time rendering of volumetric clouds shaded with light provided by the atmosphere.
