Multidisciplinary Approach to Physical Activities for Individuals with Disabilities in the Context of Health and Social Care

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá multidisciplinárním přístupem k pohybovým aktivitám pro osoby s tělesným postižením v kontextu zdravotně-sociální péče. V teoretické části práce je definován koncept tělesného postižení, vlivu na pohybovou aktivitu, a jsou zkoumány metody a principy inkluzivního vzdělávání. Dále práce zkoumá roli zdravotně-sociální péče a její modely zapojení do školního prostředí. Empirická část práce vychází z kvalitativního výzkumu, který byl proveden prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pedagogy, majícími zkušenosti s tělesným postižením ve školském prostředí. Data jsou analyzována pomocí otevřeného a axiálního kódování, což umožňuje identifikovat klíčové aspekty a bariéry ve vzdělávání a integraci osob s tělesným postižením. Výsledky ukazují na potřebu multidisciplinární spolupráce a podporují koncept inkluzivního vzdělávání jako efektivní strategie pro zlepšení situace v oblasti vzdělávání osob s tělesným postižením. Práce poskytuje doporučení pro praxi a nastiňuje možné směry pro budoucí výzkum.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on a multidisciplinary approach to physical activities for individuals with physical disabilities in the context of health and social care. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of physical disability, its impact on physical activity, and examines methods and principles of inclusive education. Furthermore, the thesis explores the role of health and social care and its models of involvement in the school environment. The empirical part of the thesis is based on qualitative research conducted through semi-structured interviews with educators experienced in working with individuals with physical disabilities in the school environment. The data are analyzed using open and axial coding, which allows for the identification of key aspects and barriers in the education and integration of individuals with physical disabilities. The results highlight the need for multidisciplinary collaboration and support the concept of inclusive education as an effective strategy for improving the situation in the education of individuals with physical disabilities. The thesis provides recommendations for practice and outlines possible directions for future. research.
