V prostředí se nachází mnoho mutagenních látek, které způsobují poškození DNA a mohou vést k rozvoji karcinomu u člověka. Je proto velmi významné studovat látky, které jsou schopny předcházet účinkům mutagenů, nebo jejich účinek co nejvíce zmírnit. Abstract:
In the environment, there are many mutagenic substances that cause DNA damage and can lead to human cancer. It is therefore very important to study substances which are capable of preventing or reducing the effects of mutagens.
