Photocatalytic degradation of organic substances

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je literární rešerší na téma fotokatalytické degradace organických lá-tek. Je kladen důraz na teoretickou znalost mechanismu fotokatalytických reakcí za přítom-nosti katalýzy oxidem titaničitým a jeho využití jako nejznámějšího a nejpoužívanějšího kata-lyzátor. Práce se zabývá i popisem jeho jednotlivých forem a využitím. Dále jsou zde obecně shrnuty další komerčně dostupné druhy katalyzátoru. Stěžejní část práce je věnována reakto-rům, přesněji obecnému rozdělení reaktorů a příklady využití nových moderních fotokataly-tických reaktorů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is a literary research on photocatalytic degradation of organic sub-stances. Firstly, the emphasis is put on the theoretical knowledge of the mechanism of photo-catalytic reactions in the presence of titanium dioxide catalysis and its use as the most well-known and most used catalyst. The work deals with the description of its individual forms and uses. In addition, other commercially available types of catalyst are generally summarized. The main part of the thesis is dedicated to the reactors, more precisely the general classifica-tion of the reactors and examples of the use of new modern photocatalytic reactors.
