„The Superfluous Man“ in Russian Literature of the Nineteenth Century
Abstract:
Tato diplomové práce se zabývá „zbytečným člověkem“ v ruské literatuře 19. století. Cílem práce je zkoumat „zbytečného člověka“ a zejména hledat jeho společné vlastnosti v rámci celé generace „zbytečných lidí“. Opírat se budeme o dílo A. S. Puškina, M. J. Lermontova a I. S. Turgeněva.
Abstract:
The master diploma thesis deals with "the superfluous man" in Russian literature of the nineteenth century. The aim of our thesis is to analyse "the superfluous man", particularly to search for his common features within the whole generation of "superfulous men". Our study is based on the work of A. S. Pushkin, M. J. Lermontov and I. S. Turgenev.
