Retirement Pension of Employee and Self-Employed - Comparative study

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce je analýza výpočtu starobního důchodu, dávky poskytované z I. pilíře důchodového systému v České republice. Účelem práce je analýza dávkové formule starobního důchodu, včetně její právní úpravy. Dále na modelovém příkladu porovnat výši budoucího starobního důchodu zaměstnance a živnostníka dle zvoleného kritéria, kterým je průměrná mzda v České republice. Cílem práce je na základě tohoto srovnání poukázat na rozdíl ve výši odvodů na důchodové pojištění zaměstnance a živnostníka, a rozdílu ve výpočtu jejich budoucího starobního důchodu. Pro tuto analýzu jsem zvolila metodu komparace. Závěr práce je zaměřen na možnosti, jak lze řešit zjištěný rozdíl ve výši starobního důchodu mezi zaměstnancem a živnostníkem, který, jak se ukázalo, není zanedbatelný. Včetně provedení návrhu de lege ferenda.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor thesis is an analysis of the old-age pension, which is a social benefit provided in the Czech Republic by the 1st pillar of the pension system. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the calculation of the old-age pension and its legislation. Another purpose is to compare the amount of the old-age pension given to an employee and a self-employed person based on the selected criterion, which is in this case the average wage in the Czech Republic. The goal of this thesis is to highlight, based on the previous comparison, the difference in the amounts of contributions for pension insurance paid by an employee and a self-employed person and also the difference in the calculations of their old-age pension. For this analysis I chose the method of comparison. The final part of the thesis focuses on the possibilities of how to deal with the difference is in the amount of old-age pension between an employee and a self-employed person, as the difference will be shown to be substantial. This will include a proposal de lege ferenda.
