Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je videoklip k běloruské tradiční svatební písni. Tyto písně se obvykle zpívaly před svatbou nebo během svatby. Podle běloruské tradice by nevěsta měla být před svatbou "smutná", protože opouští svůj domov kvůli cizí rodině, i když samotná svatba je radostnou událostí. Smutná je tak i tato píseň. Navzdory tomu je samotná hudba v tomto konkrétním provedení velmi rytmická a pozitivní díky tomu, že byla napsána společně s íránským hudebníkem, který jí dal svůj kulturně orientální nádech. Píseň je o dívce (sirotkovi), kterou dohazovači odvedou z domova a vdají ji. Myšlenka útěku nevěstiny dívky před jejím osudem se vine celým klipem, protože svatba byla pro osiřelou dívku často beznadějným rozhodnutím o jejím osudu (protože neměla věno nebo bylo malé, nápadníků bylo málo). Proto se dívka snaží před svým osudem utéct. S pomocí takových vizuálních prostředků, jako je montáž, rytmická animace různých objektů, je zprostředkován pohyb a aspirace hrdinky. Animace byla vytvořena technikou stop motion (snímání každé fáze pohybu snímek po snímku) a dále zpracována na počítači v softrwaru After Effects. K vytvoření vizuálního stylu, který odkazuje na běloruskou kulturu a řemeslo, jsem použila různé látky, nitě, rukodělné výrobky a výšivky. Toto hudební video bylo vytvořeno na podporu běloruského lidového písničkářství a jeho popularizaci na různých internetových platformách.

Abstract:

My thesis is a music video for a Belarusian traditional wedding song. Such songs were usually sung before the wedding or during the wedding. In terms of meaning, it is rather sad, because in the tradition of Belarusians, the bride should "be sad" before the wedding, because she leaves her home for a strange family, although the wedding itself is a joyful event. Despite this, the song itself in this particular performance is very rhythmic and positive due to the fact that it was co-written with an Iranian musician who gave his cultural oriental touch. The song is about a girl (orphan) who is taken away from home by matchmakers and given in marriage. The idea of running (escape) of the bride's girl from her fate runs through the entire clip, because marriage for an orphan was often a hopeless decision of her fate (since she did not have a dowry or it was small, there were few suitors). Therefore, the girl tries to escape from her fate. With the help of such visual means as montage, rhythmic animation of various objects, the movement and aspiration of the heroine are conveyed. The animation was created using the stop motion technique (frame-by-frame photographing of each phase of the movement) and further processed on a computer in the After Effects softrware. To create a visual style that refers to the Belarusian culture and craft, I used various fabrics, threads, handicrafts, and embroidery. Thus, this music video was created to support Belarusian folk songwriting and popularize it on various online platforms.
