Abstract:

Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou postojů studentů učitelských studijních programů k pojmům školního a sociálního prostředí jako důležité proměnné, která může zásadně ovlivňovat průběh jejich pregraduální učitelské přípravy. Teoretická část práce v sobě zahrnuje dvě oblasti přístupů k dané problematice. Jedná se o oblast psychologického chápání teorie vzniku a formování postojů a dále velmi důležitou oblast pedagogického pojetí teorie učitelské profese. Zmiňovány jsou náplň profese učitelství, jeho charakteristiky, etické a osobnostní předpoklady učitelů, vzdělávání učitelů a dimenze učitelské profese. Empirická část práce popisuje výsledky výzkumného šetření na vzorku 809 respondentů (studentů Pedagogické fakulty UP v Olomouci – dále jen PdF), které probíhalo ve dvou po sobě následujících etapách v letech 2006 (1. ročník studia) a 2009/2010/2011 (závěrečné ročníky studia). Cílem první etapy šetření bylo pomocí sémantického diferenciálu (dále jen SD) zjistit, jaké postoje k vybraným pojmům mají studenti nastupující do prvního ročníku PdF oproti studentům posledních ročníků středních škol. Zkoumané pojmy školního prostředí byly: kolegové studenti (spolužáci – pro studenty středních škol), pedagogická fakulta (naše škola), studium na střední škole, studijní skupina (naše třída), vysokoškolské zkoušení (zkoušení), vzdělání, hodnocení na VŠ (známkování) a znalost cizího jazyka. Ze sociálního prostředí to byly pojmy: zdraví, budoucnost, osobní počítač, rodiče, přátelství, já, peníze, moje budoucí úspěšnost v zaměstnání. Z provedeného šetření vyplynulo, že vnímání pojmů mezi lety 2005 (měření postojů u studentů SŠ) a 2006 (1. etapa měření postojů u studentů PdF) bylo odlišné. Navíc byly v první etapě výzkumu u studentů PdF zjišťovány postoje k pojmům: současná příprava na učitelské povolání, budoucí učitelské povolání, žák na škole, kde budu pracovat, výchova žáků na škole kde budu pracovat, škola na které budu pracovat, postavení handicapovaného jedince ve společnosti, můj vztah k handicapovaným osobám, péče o handicapované ve společnosti. Dále byl studentům předložen NEO pětifaktorový osobnostní inventář, který zjišťoval osobnostní charakteristiky respondentů, které mohou hrát důležitou roli v jejich profesní úspěšnosti. Touto metodou byla zjišťována míra individuálních odlišností v pěti obecných dimenzích osobnosti - Neuroticismus, Extraverze, Otevřenost vůči zkušenostem, Přívětivost a Svědomitost. Ve druhé etapě výzkumu byla studentům předložena totožná baterie výzkumných otázek a škál SD a navíc byly pomocí dotazníku zjišťovány hodnotící názory studentů na jejich pregraduální učitelskou přípravu. Bylo zjištěno, že studenti jsou se svou pregraduální učitelskou přípravou ve většině případů spokojeni. Přesto se velmi často objevoval požadavek na rozšíření pedagogických praxí a řešení modelových situací ve výuce. Zajímavým zjištěním výzkumu byl fakt, že na splnění očekávání studenta spojeného se studiem na PdF se významně podílelo zaměření studenta (přírodovědné, společenskovědní, speciálně-pedagogické) a typ absolvované střední školy. Naopak pohlaví studentů na splnění očekávání spojeného se studiem na PdF vliv nemělo. Dalším cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, zda se budou odlišovat postoje k předkládaným pojmům SD v závislosti na studijním oboru (přírodovědné, společenskovědní, speciálně-pedagogické zaměření) a pohlaví studentů. oproti předpokladům neuplatnil. Za zásadní, avšak bohužel negativní výsledek, je možné považovat fakt, že u vnímání zkoumaných pojmů mezi první a druhou etapou výzkumu došlo u studentů PdF k významnému a nežádoucímu posunu zvláště ve snížení hodnocení pojmů ve všech zkoumaných oblastech.

Abstract:

The dissertation thesis explores the attitudes of students of teacher training courses to the concepts of school and social environment as an important variable that can significantly influence the course of the undergraduate teacher preparation. The theoretical part includes two areas of approaches to the subject matter. Firstly, it refers to the area of psychological understanding of the theory of the origin and formation of attitudes. Secondly, it examines the importance of pedagogical approach to the theory of teaching profession. In addition, this part of the thesis refers to the content of teaching profession, its characteristics, ethical and personal qualities of teachers, teacher education and the dimension of teaching profession. The empirical part of the paper describes the results of the survey on a sample of 809 respondents (students of the Faculty of Education in Olomouc), which took place in two consecutive stages between 2006 (the first year of study) and 2009/2010/2011 (final grades of study). The aim of the first stage of the investigation was, by means of the semantic differential (henceforth SD), to compare the attitudes of students entering the first year study at the Faculty of Education with the views of the last year students of secondary schools. Researched terms of school environment: teacher trainees (classmates - for upper-secondary school students), the Faculty of Education (our school), secondary school study, study group (our class), university level testing (testing), education, evaluation at universities (marking), and knowledge of a foreign language. The terms related to the area of social environment: health, the future, personal computer, parents, friendship, me, money, my future professional success. The investigation revealed that the perception of the examined terms between 2005 (measuring the attitudes among secondary school students) and 2006 (1st phase of investigation of attitudes of students of the Faculty of Education) was different. In the first phase of the research we explored the attitudes of students of the Faculty of Education towards the following terms: current preparation for the teaching profession, future teaching career, pupil at the school where I will work, education of pupils at the school where I will work, school at which I will work, status of a handicapped individual in a society, my attitude to handicapped persons, care for the disabled people in society. Furthermore, the students were given a NEO Five-Factor Personality Inventory in order to examine their personal characteristics, which may play an important role in their future career success. This method has been used in order to examine the rate of the individual differences in five broad dimensions of a personality - neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness. In the second stage of the research the students were to answer the same battery of research questions and scales SD. In addition, by means of a questionnaire we surveyed the opinions of the students on their undergraduate teacher preparation. It was found out that the students are in most cases satisfied with the quality of their undergraduate teaching preparation. Nevertheless, the students require the extension of teaching practice in schools as well as involving more possibilities for practising model situations in the classroom. One of the interesting findings of the research is the fact that the fulfilment of student expectations is associated with the type of a study course taken at the Faculty of Education. It was revealed that both the specialization (natural sciences, social sciences, special-pedagogy) and a type of completed secondary school are significantly important factors. s in attitudes towards the examined concepts SD depending on the field of study (scientific, social, special-pedagogical) and gender of students. The research showed that the field of study significantly affects students' attitudes to almost all examined concepts. However, the impact of gender on students' attitudes to surveyed concepts was not proved. An alarming result of the survey is the fact that in the course of the first and second phase of the research the perception of the surveyed concepts in all areas were significantly downgraded by the students.
