Educational System in the Liberec Region and its Connections with Labour Market

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce s názvem Vzdělávací soustava v Libereckém kraji a její vazba na trh práce je analyzovat vzdělávací soustavu a zjistit, zda struktura vzdělávací soustavy odpovídá potřebám trhu práce v Libereckém kraji. Vzhledem k většímu vlivu absolventů středních škol je práce zaměřena především na zkoumání absolventů středních škol a jejich situace na trhu práce. Práce je rozdělena do pěti kapitol. V první kapitole jsou popsány základní pojmy z oblasti vzdělávání a trhu práce. Druhá kapitola se zabývá vzdělávací soustavou v České republice. Je zde také přiblížena legislativa z oblasti vzdělávání a základní koncepční dokumenty. Další část se zabývá trhem práce v České republice a související legislativou. Čtvrtá kapitola je zaměřena na Liberecký kraj a popis vzdělávací soustavy v tomto kraji, včetně situace absolventů na trhu práce. Poslední kapitola se zabývá trhem práce v Libereckém kraji a na závěr je popsána situace absolventů na trhu práce v tomto kraji. Z analýzy vyplynulo, že struktura vzdělávací soustavy v Libereckém kraji příliš neodpovídá potřebám trhu práce. V případě uměleckých oborů je návaznost vzdělávací soustavy a trhu práce lepší, jde však o obory s nevelkým počtem absolventů. U oblíbených oborů jako administrativa, ekonomika a turismus je v Libereckém kraji absolventů přebytek.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis called Educational System in the Liberec Region and its Connection with Labour Market is to analyse the educational system and determine whether the structure of the educational system corresponds to the needs of the labour market. Due to the increased influence of high school graduates, it is focused on the research of high school graduates and their situation in the labour market. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter describes the basic concepts of education and the labour market. The second chapter deals with the educational system in the Czech Republic. There is also introduced legislation in education and basic conceptual documents. The next part deals with the labour market in the Czech Republic and related legislative framework. The fourth chapter focused on the Liberec Region and description of the educational system in this region, including the situation of graduates in the labour market. The last chapter describes the labour market in the Liberec Region and in conclusions is described the situation of graduates in the labour market in this region. The analysis proved that the structure of the educational system in the Liberec Region does not correspond with the labour market. In case of artistic fields of study is the continuity between the educational system and the labour market better, on the other hand in these areas the number of graduates is lower. In popular disciplines such as administration, economy or tourism is a surplus of graduates in Liberec Region.
