The Mire Vegetation in Boletice Military Area

Abstract:

V letech 2004 až 2006 jsem studovala rašelinná a mokřadní společenstva na území Vojenského výcvikového prostoru (VVP) Boletice. Shlukovou analýzou jsem rozlišila pět typů rašelinné vegetace. S použitím expertního systému a fytocenologické literatury jsem fytocenologické snímky zařadila do následujících asociací: Angelico-Cirsietum palustris a Chaerophyllo hirsuti-Calthetum (svaz Calthion), Junco-Molinietum caerulae (svaz Molinion), Sphagno warnstorfiani-Eriophoretum latifolii (svaz Sphagno warnstorfiani-Tomenthypnion), Caricetum goodenowii a Willemetio-Caricetum panicae (svaz Caricion fuscae), Carici rostratae-Sphagnetum apiculati (svaz Sphagno recurvi-Caricion canescentis), Eriophoro vaginati-Sphagnetum recurvi a Andromedo polifoliae-Sphagnetum magellanici (svaz Sphagnion medii). Pomocí gradientových analýz (DCA, CCA) jsem hledala hlavní směry variability v datech, a to, jaké faktory tuto variabilitu ovlivňují. K interpretaci jsem použila naměřené hodnoty pH a konduktivity a Ellenbergovy indikační hodnoty pro vlhkost, dusík a půdní reakci. Nejsilnější vliv na sledovanou vegetaci má pH a obsah vápníku a živin v půdě. Další důležitý faktor je vlhkost. Stav vegetace na území VVP Boletice jsem srovnávala s rašelinnou vegetací na Vysočině a pravé straně vodní nádrže Lipno. Protože za hranicemi vojenského prostoru není krajina běžně hospodářsky využívaná, neprojevují se zde změny vegetace způsobené hnojením, odvodňováním ani těžením rašelinišť jako je tomu na obou srovnávaných územích.

Abstract:

The mire vegetation in military training area of Boletice was studied during the period of the years 2004 – 2006. The vegetation types were classified into following associations by using Expert system, i.e. supervised classification based on national formal definitions, and fytosociological literature: Angelico-Cirsietum palustris and Chaerophyllo hirsuti-Calthetum (both belonging to the alliance Calthion), Junco-Molinietum caerulae (alliance Molinion), Sphagno warnstorfiani-Eriophoretum latifolii (alliance Sphagno warnstorfiani-Tomenthypnion), Caricetum goodenowii and Willemetio-Caricetum panicae (both belonging to the alliance Caricion fuscae), Carici rostratae-Sphagnetum apiculati (alliance Sphagno recurvi-Caricion canescentis), Eriophoro vaginati-Sphagnetum recurvi and Andromedo polifoliae-Sphagnetum magellanici (both belonging to the alliance Sphagnion medii). The gradient structure of the vegetation was revealed by DCA and CCA. For the interpretation of ordination axes, measured environmental factors (pH and conductivity) and Ellenberg indicator values for moisture, nitrogen and soil reaction were used. Water pH, Ca2+ and nutrient content are the most important factors controlling the floristic variation along the first DCA axis. The second important factor is moisture. The comparison of mire vegetation in the military area of Boletice, unaffected by human agricultural activity in the past decades, with analogous vegetation in the southern part of Bohemian-Moravian Uplands and on the right side of Lipno dam, shows an absence of species that indicate nutrient oversupply to mires and/or drainage in the military area of Boletice. There are no changes of vegetation made by fertilizing or drainage as compared to in both compared areas.
