Abstract:

Cílem této práce je identifikovat manažerské styly ve vybraném výrobním podniku a posoudit jejich vliv na efektivitu řízení. Následně práce nabízí návrhy, které může organizace realizovat. V první části práce jsou shrnuty relevantní teoretické informace. Pro sběr dat je využita analýza dokumentů, pozorování, rozhovory s manažery a dotazníky. Ve výsledcích je aplikován přístup deskriptivní analýzy, metoda analýzy GRID a metoda zobecnění. Pro efektivní řízení podřízených je nezbytné sestavit motivovaný a dobře fungující tým, což dokládají dosavadní úspěchy. Řízení lidí je nedílnou součástí práce manažera a firmy jako celku. Mohlo by poškodit výdělky firmy. Manažer zdravotnické divize používá konzultativní styl řízení. Manažer elektrotechnické divize využívá autoritativní styl řízení, který je spojen s direktivním řízením manažera. Vysoké procento nespokojenosti se prokázalo ve všech věkových kategoriích zejména u elektrotechnické divize, kde manažer používá autoritativní styl řízení. Dlouhodobá nespokojenost podřízených může vyústit v jejich odchod, což může mít negativní dopad na výrobu. Manažeři výrobních organizací by měli upřednostňovat účast zaměstnanců na rozhodování.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to identify management styles in a selected manufacturing company and to assess their influence on management effectiveness. Subsequently, the thesis offers suggestions that can be implemented by the organization. The first part of the thesis summarizes the relevant theoretical information. Document analysis, observations, interviews with managers and questionnaires are used for data collection. The descriptive analysis approach, the GRID analysis method and the generalization method are applied in the results. For effective management of subordinates, it is essential to assemble a motivated and well-functioning team, as evidenced by the successes to date. Managing people is an integral part of the manager's job and the company. It could damage the company's earnings. The medical division manager uses a consultative management style. The manager of the electrical division uses an authoritative management style, which is associated with directive management by the manager. High percentage of dissatisfaction was found in all age categories especially in electrical division where manager uses authoritative management style. Long-term dissatisfaction of subordinates may result in their departure, which may have a negative impact on production. Managers of manufacturing organisations should prioritise employee participation in decision-making.
