Price elasticity of demand for optional equipment in Škoda Auto a.s.

Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá popisem a analýzou cenové elasticity poptávky po mimořádných výbavách ve společnosti Škoda Auto a.s. V práci bude popsána teoretická základna stanovení ceny, směr a velikost poptávky po změně ceny a reakce zákazníka na tuto změnu. První část této práce objasňuje teoretická východiska, která se vztahují ke sledování faktorů určujících cenovou elasticitu poptávky a benchmarkingu konkurence společnosti. V praktické části je zpracována analýza elasticity poptávky po mimořádných výbavách a analýza současného stavu sledování mimořádných výbav. Praktická část využívá výsledky interní a externí analýzy, na jejíchž základě jsou navrženy strategie zkoumání a využití cenového potenciálu mimořádných výbav pro budoucnost. Cílem této práce je vysvětlení cenotvorby mimořádných s využitím cenového benchmarkingu, interní a externí analýzy a současné zhodnocení výsledku těchto analýz s návrhem na optimalizaci využíti cenového potenciálu mimořádných výbav.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the description and analysis of price elasticity of demand for optional equipment in the Škoda Auto company. The theoretical knowledge of pricing, direction and size of demand for price change and customer response to this change will be described. The theoretical part of this work explains the theoretical bases, which relate to the monitoring of the factors determining the price elasticity of demand and benchmarking of the competition of the company. In the practical part there is an analysis of the causes of elasticity of demand for optional equipment and analysis of the current state of monitoring of optional equipment. The practical part uses the results of internal and external analysis, on the basis of which strategies are proposed to explore and exploit the price potential of optional equipment for the future.The aim of this work is to explain the pricing of optional equipment in the company Škoda Auto a.s. using the price benchmarking, internal and external analysis and simultaneously evaluating the results of these analyses with a proposal to optimize the use of the price potential of optional equipment.
