Specifics of reading and writing for a visually impaired pupil

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá specifickými rysy čtení a psaní u žáků se zrakovým postižením. Úvodní část předkládá základní termíny z oboru oftalmopedie a uvádí klasifikaci zrakového postižení včetně jeho etiologie. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny možnosti vzdělávání žáků s postižením zraku a vliv handicapu na celkový průběh vzdělávání. Detailněji jsou popsány specifika čtení a psaní u těchto žáků. Praktická část obsahuje na základě realizovaného výzkumného šetření individuální výsledky ve čtení a psaní u žáků s různým stupněm zrakového postižení, jež jsou komparovány s výsledky žáka bez zrakového postižení. Posuzována je rovněž míra vlivu optimalizace podmínek na průběh čtení a psaní žáků se zrakovým postižením.

Abstract:

The work deals with the specific features of reading and writing in students with visual impairments. The introductory part presents basic terms from the field of ophthalmology and presents the classification of visual impairment, including its etiology. In the theoretical part, the possibilities for the education of pupils with visual impairments and the influence of the handicap on the overall course of education are presented. The specifics of reading and writing for these students are described in more detail. The practical part contains, on the basis of a research investigation, individual reading and writing results of pupils with different degrees of visual impairment, which are compared with the results of a pupil without a visual impairment. The degree of influence of the optimization of conditions on the progress of reading and writing of students with visual impairment is also assessed.
