Satanism - phenomen of modern society

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci jsem se zaměřila na satanismus a na osoby, které satanismus vyznávají. V první části jsem se věnovala vývoji satanismu od výskytu prvního uctívání ďábla až po současnost. Zdůraznila jsem klíčové myšlenky satanistické ideologie, seznámila jsem čtenáře s jednotlivými proudy satanismu i s jeho symbolikou. Základním pramenem současného satanismu se stala Satanská bible, kterou vytvořil Anton Szandor La Vey, a její rukověť Satanské rituály. Ve své diplomové práci jsem nastínila průběh jednotlivých rituálů. Zabývala jsem se i životními osudy hlavních protagonistů této víry a zmapovala jejich satanistickou činnost. Zvláštní pozornost jsem věnovala satanistickým sektám a způsobům jejich manipulace jednotlivými členy. Hlavním cílem této práce je upozornit na nebezpečnost těchto sdružení a postihnout hlavní zločiny, kterých se satanisté dopouštějí.

Abstract:

In my dissertation, I focus on Satanism and the people who profess it. In the first part, I pay attention to the evolution of Satanism from the first presence of diabolism until today. I point out the main ideas of Satanist ideology, and familiarize the readers with each stream of Satanism and its symbolism. The basic stream of today?s Satanism is the Satanic bible, created by Anton Szandor La Vey, and its complement, the Satanic rituals. In my dissertation, I outline the progress of each ritual. I even investigate the fate of the main protagonists of this belief, mapping their Satanist activity. I pay extra attention to Satanist sects and their methods of manipulating each member. The main aim of this work is to draw attention to the danger of these associations and to depict major crimes caused by the Satanists.
