Diplomová práce pojednává o nezávislosti soudů a soudců z hlediska ústavního. Analyzuje její vývoj v právní filosofii a v jejím praktickém uplatňování v průběhu dějin. Dále pak v kontextu současné právní úpravy. Na tuto část navazuje popis úpravy dané problematiky v ústavách států Evropské unie. Thesis deals with special institute: indepency of courts and judges. Initial part of the thesis describes the independency in general concept. Sequentially the thesis focuses the independency in context of philosophy and history.
