Práce se zabývá otázkou přivlastňování, neboli apropriace kulturních forem v rámci afroamerické hudby, konkrétně hudebního žánru rap. Abstract:
The focus of this study is an appropriation of cultural forms in African-American music, namely rap music. The white rapper Eminem is analyzed in relation to the history and principles of rap music in terms of authenticity, ethnicity, and narrative forms.
