Cílem této práce je navrhnout koncepci výkladu pojmu "redakce" u tištěných i rukopisných kancionálů vzniklých v průběhu 1. poloviny 16. století v českém prostoru. Je provedena rešerše a analýza dosavadních přístupů k řešení této problematiky, kodikologická a obsahová analýza vybraného souboru rukopisných i tištěných kancionálů z vymezeného období.
