The primary purpose of the thesis is to elucidate the decision-making process of a company when acquiring extra capital. Firstly we analyze the suitability of a company to become public. Cieľom práce je priblížiť rozhodovací proces spoločnosti pri získavaní dodatočného kapitálu. Najskôr analyzujeme vhodnosť vstupu spoločnosti na verejný trh. Následne na základe analýzy jednotlivých externých a interných faktorov zhodnotíme ich vplyv na rozhodovanie firmy medzi emitovaním dlhopisov a IPO akcií.
