Mobbing and Bossing - Forms of Bullying in the Workplace

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou mobbingu a bossingu. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezení mobbingu a bossingu a jejich zasazení do širokého rámce šikany na pracovišti. Zaměřuje se na projevy těchto forem patologických vztahů v prostředí pracoviště, na jejich oběti a na dopady, které šikana na pracovišti má na jedince, organizaci i společnost. Následně přináší teoretický pohled na možné způsoby řešení mobbingu a bossingu. Práce se dále zabývá výsledky již realizovaných výzkumů zabývajících se šikanou na pracovišti, z nichž některé jsou následně ověřovány prostřednictvím vlastního výzkumného šetření, které je popsáno v empirické části. Výzkum probíhal dotazníkovou formou a byl proveden na vzorku ekonomicky aktivní populace starší 18 let pracující v mikroregionu Heřmanoměstecko. Cílem šetření bylo zjistit nejčastější projevy mobbingu či bossingu, charakteristiku jejich obětí a způsoby, kterými šikanu na pracovišti řeší.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with mobbing and bossing. The theoretical part deals with definition of mobbing and bossing and their introduction to the broad framework of bullying in the workplace. It focuses on manifestations of these forms of pathological relationships in the environment of the workplace, to their victims and to the impact that workplace bullying has on individuals, organization and society. Subsequently brings the theoretical view on possible ways of solution of mobbing and bossing. The thesis also deals with the results of research already carried out in the workplace instead, some of which are then verified through my own research investigation which is described in the empirical part. The research took place in the form of questionnaire survey and was carried out on a sample of the economically active population over 18 years working in the micro-region Heřmanoměstecko. The aim of the investigation was to determine the most common manifestations of mobbing or bossing, the characteristics of their victims and the ways of their solutions to bullying in the workplace.
